Designed for ultra-trails and long outings on varied terrain, the Salomon S/LAB Ultra Glide 1.5 perfectly blends lightness, cushioning, and agility. Refined with feedback from elite athletes, this version of the Ultra Glide is aimed at demanding runners seeking comfort and fluidity over long distances—without compromising performance.
Equipped with a full-length Energy Foam midsole, the shoe delivers generous yet responsive cushioning. This lightweight foam effectively absorbs impact while ensuring smooth energy return—ideal for preserving your legs during extended efforts, from marathon distance to 100 km.
The Contagrip® MA outsole is built to adapt to a wide variety of surfaces: dry, wet, technical, or rolling trails. Multi-directional lugs provide reliable traction and smooth transitions, even on changing or unstable terrain.
The Matryx® upper, both lightweight and durable, combined with the Quicklace™ system, ensures a precise and secure fit across the entire foot. The shoe wraps the foot for stable support, reducing friction and unwanted movement on descents or during long runs.
Designed for ultras, this shoe prioritizes comfort with a breathable mesh that reduces hotspots. A discreet toe bumper provides protection from trail impacts without adding weight, and the sculpted fit is optimized for long hours on the trail.
